Here’s my 3 tips to get to healthy blonde this summer!
1. Start the process now!
This allows you to go slower and less aggressive with your lightning, which will actually give you longer lasting results because the hair is being lifted more evenly over a period of time! Give yourself at least two sessions and then simply maintain with glosses through the peak summer months.
2. Hydration & Strength are essential
Your hair won’t hold onto toner, and will tend to yellow quicker if you do not have hydration in the hair. If your cuticle and hair is hydrated and nourished you will maintain your blonde for much longerand you will also reach your blonde goals much quicker because it is easier to lift healthy hair without the risk of breakage.
3. Be Realistic with your goals
Sometimes blonder doesn’t mean better, you can still lighten and brighten but if you are starting with a dark base or unhealthy hair you need to be realistic with your goals and listen to the advice of your stylist! Healthy hair is ALWAYS in style!
