How does this impact our hair and skin?
Mineral buildup can lead to dry, irritated skin, exacerbating any skin conditions or irritations. Hair exposed to hard water becomes fragile, limp, and discolouration occurs affecting all that hard work you put into your hair through salon visits and your products used at home!
Skin – Mineral residue left on the skin can cause dryness, commonly resulting in flare-ups for those who experience eczema or psoriasis. The high amount of calcium in hard water prevents soap from fully dissolving, leaving residue on the skin which contributes to sensitivity and irritation.
