TEN YEARS OF POMME
Founded by Master Stylist and entrepreneur Nicole Pidherny in 2015, Pomme began as a small salon rooted in connection and hair education.
Since then, we’ve grown into a thriving online community across Canada, opened (and outgrew!) multiple salon spaces, and most recently, opened our new salon in Toronto.
This timeline celebrates the major milestones, incredible Pomme team both in salon, and digital behind the scenes, and our incredible community—that made it all possible.
2015
Our first salon opened on May 12, marking the beginning of our journey.
2018
We partnered with Kérastase to offer industry-leading professional care.
2019
Pommeshop.ca online store went live, making it easier to shop our curated selection from anywhere in Canada.
2019
We expanded with a second salon location in Penticton.
2020
With growing demand, pommeshop.ca became a major focus.
2021
We transitioned from our first salon on Ellis Street in Kelowna to a larger, upgraded salon space on Vaughan Ave.
2021
We chose to close our Penticton salon to focus on the future of Pommeshop.ca.
2021
We opened a dedicated warehouse to allowed us to scale and improve our online operations.
2022
We introduced Pomme to Toronto with a temporary pop-up space.
2024
Our permanent Toronto location opened with co-founder David, bringing the Pomme experience to the east.
