Description

If you’ve ever wondered whether you’re frying your colour with too much heat, this curling iron takes the guesswork out. Tell the Curl ID your hair texture and whether your hair is colour-treated, and HeatID chooses one of 9 heat settings for you. You get smooth, shiny curls that last, without the extra heat.

How to Use

1. Start with dry, detangled hair, apply a heat protectant and divide your hair into sections.
2. Turn it on, then use the touch panel to choose your hair texture (fine, medium or coarse) and whether your hair is colour-treated.
3. Double-tap the Power button to lock in your HeatID profile. The lights will climb to your personalized heat setting.
4. When the iron beeps and the lights stay solid, it’s ready. Wrap a section around the barrel, holding the iron vertical, and hold it until the heat has gone all the way through, then release.
5. Repeat around your head and let each curl cool before you touch it.

Hold it by the cool tip only, and keep the hot barrel away from your skin.

Is it right for me?
  • Best for: Anyone with colour-treated, fine or fragile hair who wants curls without the heat damage. The 1.25" barrel makes classic curls and soft waves on shoulder-length to long hair.
  • Skip if: Your hair is above your chin or you want very loose, beachy waves. For short hair, try a smaller barrel. For bigger, looser waves, the SinglePass Curl X 1.5" is a better match.
