Your Favourite Blonde Products Just Got a Major Upgrade (And We're Obsessed)

Okay, blonde friends, we need to talk. Kérastase has done something really exciting to the Blond Absolu lineup, and if you've been sleeping on this range, now is genuinely the time to pay attention.

Four of the core products have been reformulated with a new ingredient duo that we are fully nerding out over: Vitamins C and E.

Here's what got the upgrade, and more importantly, why it actually matters for your hair.

The four reformulated products are the ones most of you are probably already using:

All four now include the new Vitamin C and E complex alongside the hyaluronic acid that the range was already built on.

So What Does Vitamin C + E Actually Do?

I know..."Vitamins" sounds like marketing speak. BUT, there's real science here, so stick with me for a second.

Vitamin C + E work together to help keep blonde hair looking brighter, healthier, and stronger between appointments — because blonde hair doesn’t just need tone, it needs protection.

Vitamin C works directly on the integrity of your hair fibres, making them more resilient to mechanical stress. That means the everyday stuff: brushing, heat styling, putting your hair in a pony, sleeping on it. When you bleach or highlight your hair, it is more fragile at the fibre level, so anything that helps it hold up to daily life is a BIG deal.

Vitamin E is your antioxidant shield. It protects the hair from oxidative damage, which is exactly the kind of damage that bleaching and chemical services cause in the first place. Think of it as the ingredient that helps slow down the deterioration so that your colour lasts longer and your hair stays healthier between appointments.

Together, they help maintain your hair's strength, health, and overall appearance. The visible result? Better shine. And not the fake kind. Luminosity actually comes from how the light reflects off your hair's natural surface and internal structure, and a smooth, uniform cuticle is what makes that happen. These two vitamins help you get there!

But Wait, There's Still Hyaluronic Acid Too

The Blond Absolu range hasn't dropped its hero ingredient; it's just made the formula even more complete. Hyaluronic acid is still doing the heavy lifting on hydration, and it's doing it in a really clever way.

The range uses two different molecular weights of hyaluronic acid, which is not something every brand does. The smaller molecule actually penetrates the hair fibre to hydrate from the inside out. The larger molecule sits on the exterior and creates that soft, smooth, plumped feeling you can actually feel when you run your fingers through your hair. Both at once means you're getting benefits on every level of the strand.

The hyaluronic acid used in Blond Absolu is extracted through the fermentation of lactic bacteria by a French biotech company, which is a very cool detail that we love sharing because this stuff matters!

Who Is This For?

All the blondes! Seriously, one of the best things about Blond Absolu is that it's genuinely designed for every kind of blonde hair, whether you're naturally fair, you get highlights, or you're going full bleach. It works across all curl types and textures, too, so fine and wavy blondes, you're not left out.

If your hair feels sensitized, dry, or prone to breakage after chemical services, this is your lineup. And if you just want your natural blonde to stay bright and not turn yellow or brassy, the Ultra-Violet products are your best friends for that.
