We hear this buzz word every day lately, SELF CARE. And honestly I felt a lot of pressure to participate in (whatever SELF CARE means!?!).
After taking some time and really reflecting, I decided that Self Care is different for every person, what works for me may not work for you. For me, I need to be around good friends, experiences and family to feel recharged, for others it may mean a spa day ( I have the patience of a small fly so that would NEVER be my jam!) But what I did realize is that there are small things we can do on the daily that help us to take a minute, to recharge, to revive and to keep going!
I curated TWO different fall boxes this season.

While we have all the products you need to feel great we wanted to leave with you a few HOT TIPS that we love to follow taking care of our social self! Daneka sat down to share her favourite do’s and don’ts!
Self Care & Self Love DO’S
1. Challenge your negative thinking and thought patterns!
Negative thoughts strengthen as we give into them, our thoughts are our actions. – Use your GUA SHA on the regular to drain your lymphatic system and destress on the daily. We hold a lot of tension in our face (did you know that!?) and by regularly massaging with our Rose Quartz Gua Sha this will help to not only reduce fine lines and wrinkles (haaaayyy) it will help to remove tension and stress that can cause that nasty negative thinking!

2. Habits! (The good kind)
Fall is the best for starting back up with routines; workout routines, productivity hacks, meal prep, etc!

3. Did you know!?
It take 18 days to change a habit! – Make taking care of yourself a priority and do it consistently for 18 days! It is PROVEN when you love your hair, and feel confident on the outside you will start to feel REALLY good on the inside.
4. Meditation
Even just 7 minutes of meditation away is proven to be the magic number, and its not that much time to carve out! – This is the key to health! 5. Try something NEW

Purge old beauty products and/or clothing, and clean up! – don’t hold onto old crap! Donate the shampoo you don’t use, gift your jeans you don’t wear anymore. Believe us you will feel SO good! 7. Spend time with loved ones
Reconnect with an old friend, call someone you miss. There is NOTHING better than hanging with people (or fur people) who light you up inside!


8. Evaluate friendships in a positive way
Instead of labeling a friend (or foe) ‘toxic’ (negative thinking!!) Rethink it as; it IS ok to disagree. It IS OK to be different! It IS ok to grow apart! – and hey maybe re kindle an old friendship with a simple gift of a fall box!
9. Mindless Scrolling
And not just on social media! Do everything you do with intention and purpose! You will be amazed what you can accomplish.
10. Embrace change.
Change is good. Change is inevitable and change will happen whether you like it or not, so lean in, accept it and be open to it!

Who cares what people think. Who cares what the person next to you is doing. Who CARES. Do what makes you happy. Do what fuels your fire. Do what makes YOU FEEL GOOD! And do what challenges you to be your BEST SELF!

If you are feeling tired, bagged, run down. Lean into that. Take the bath, drink the tea, do a deep hair masque, have a nap, and feel good about it!
